Travel with TC3 to Ecuador, a beautiful mountainous country south of the
Equator in South America.
We will be based in the lovely colonial city
of Cuenca, designated a UNESCO Heritage Site, high in the Andes Mountains. Our itinerary includes pre-Incan ruins, a visit with a local Shaman, a stay in an indigenous community, visits to national parks and hot springs, as well as colorful markets and villages.
This is your opportunity to earn about globalization and migration
up close, sample exotic tropical fruits and local cuisine, and ride a
zip-line high in the Andes. It is an ideal trip for a first-time out of the
country experience or for an experienced traveler who would like to
see beyond the surface of a South American country.
Scholarships may be available for qualified students through the TC3 Office of Financial Aid, room 101.
