Italy: Documentary Film & Art

Explore Italy's rich heritage of art and film, and make a documentary film in the process.

Program Cost Includes

  • 23 days in Italy (5 days in Rome and 16 in Florence)
  • Round-trip airfare

  • Meals: Rome (daily breakfast and two dinners), Florence (meal plan for student-operated restaurant at Ganzo-Apicius)

  • This amount does not include passport and visa fees, vaccination costs, tuition, customary gratuities, beverages and lunches, any applicable baggage-handling fees imposed by the airlines or entrance/exit taxes, gifts, and personal items.
  • Scholarships may be available for qualified students through the TC3 Office of Financial Aid, room 215.

Activities

Learn art history on-site while developing documentary film skills. Students will have the opportunity to continue their art history and cinema studies in the rich cultural setting of Roma (Rome) and Firenza (Florence) Italy.

Christine Guest
is an assistant professor of Communication and Media Arts and is a visual storyteller and artist. She has taught film and television production at TC3 for six years.
