Conferences

I would like to extend an invitation to high school educators to attend conferences that include a focus on career pathways, high school to college transitions, linking academics with CTE, career advising/development, and related areas.

Tech Prep funding is available to support professional development registration and travel expenses. The amount of funding available to each applicant depends on the number and amount of requests, and the "quality" of the application. For assessing quality, I will look at the goals, who is attending (preference towards administrators, counselors, curriculum coordinators, and others who can implement new programs), and level of district support. We will make decisions on a rolling basis each month until funding is out, so get your requests in early.
