| OUTLOOK 2008 Occupational Employment Statistics This wage study includes workers in Tompkins, Broome, Chemung, Chenango, Delaware, Otsego, Schyuler, Steuben, and Tioga counties. Wage data by occupation are based on the Occupational Employment Statistics survey, which collects information from approximately 57,000 businesses. Data were collected in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, and then updated to the second quarter of 2007 by making cost-of-living adjustments. |

These 10-year forecasts, which are updated every other year, are intended to help individuals make informed education and career decisions and assist educators and training providers in planning for future needs. |
