Tompkins Cortland Community College is a learning-centered college that helps our students build on their strengths to achieve their academic goals. We are a campus of the State University of New York and are located in the Finger Lakes Region of Central New York. Our curriculum includes programs in liberal arts, education, nursing, communications and digital media, business, computers, criminal justice, among many more.

TC3 Opens New Learning Commons

The Learning Commons, the central part of the latest phase of Tompkins Cortland Community College’s multi-million dollar campus renovation project, is now open. The Learning Commons provides a home to many academic services, occupying the space that formerly housed the College’s gymnasium and library. The Learning Commons represents the most significant physical transformation to the main campus building since it opened in 1974.

TC3 President Carl E. Haynes, Ph.D., is in the process of presenting his annual report to community members in Cortland and Tompkins counties, including the Ithaca and Cortland Rotary clubs, as well as each county legislature.

TC3.biz Offers Professional Development Opportunities

TC3.biz

TC3.biz, the business development and training arm of Tompkins Cortland Community College, has released its Spring 2008 Professional Development catalog. The catalog includes more than 90 classroom courses and 100 Internet course offerings, including 17 new workshops.

TC3

TC3 has released the Dean's List for the Fall 2007 semester. Dean of Academic Affairs John Conners announced a total of 355 students have received the honor.

Dr. Carl Haynes Honored for Leadership

TC3 President Carl Haynes

Tompkins Cortland Community College President Dr. Carl Haynes has been selected as a recipient of the Chair Academy's Paul A. Elsner International Excellence in Leadership Award. The honor is bestowed upon select leaders from throughout the world who exemplify and support academic and administrative leadership.

Our institutional research department provides quantitative and qualitative data for college decision-making. We have an extensive compiled research database, but if you can't find the statistics you need, you can request data.

Faculty and staff can get free or reduced entrance to our exercise facilities, including the weight room and pool.

TC3 offers non-credit workshops to improve productivity in local businesses.
