Coordinator of Student Success

Employment Date: July 1, 2008
Terms: Full-time, 12 month, Renewable

Job Description:

In collaboration with other college staff and faculty, the Student Success Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to students and academic advisors and developing programs related to the success and retention of TC3 students. This person provides direct advising services to students, coordinates the placement testing and advisement of new students, and intervention programs for students at risk. He or she also develops training materials and programs for faculty advisors.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in counseling, college student personnel administration, or content teaching field and two years’ experience in academic advising, teaching or providing support services to students at the college level; or Bachelor’s degree and minimum of four years’ experience in academic advising, teaching or providing support services to students at the college level. Working with diverse students in a multicultural setting.

Expected Hiring Salary Range:

$36,000 – $40,000 (pending contract negotiations)

Web Communications Manager

Job Description:

The Web Communications Manager provides leadership for web communications and ensures the effectiveness of the college’s web site as an interactive communications tool serving internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for the development, design, editorial content, and organization of the college’s web site. Researches and develops internet communications strategies and programs to market the college to relevant constituents. Provides short-term and long-term vision for the college’s internet communications program.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree plus three years of professional experience developing web sites.

Expected Hiring Salary Range:

$40,146 – $50,182 per year

Human Resources Administrator

Job Description:

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for administering the human resources functions and employee benefits programs for the College. Advises employees about compensation, terms and conditions of employment and fringe benefits, including health insurance, Worker’s Compensation, retirement systems, Social Security/Medicare, employee assistance program, COBRA, and flexible benefits. Manages the operations of the human resources office.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’’s degree in Business, Human Resource Administration, or related field and one year related experience or an Associates’ degree plus three years of experience administering human resource programs in a business or educational institution.

$40,146 – $50,182
