Assessment

In compliance with the College's basic skills policy, all matriculated students and all non-matriculated students are assessed in the basic skills of reading, writing, and math. The assessment may include placement testing. Non-native speakers of English may be required to take an English proficiency test. Those students whose assessment indicates that remedial work is necessary before beginning college-level work are required to take the appropriate developmental coursework.
