![]() Aviation AdmissionsAlthough the college has an open door admissions policy, admission to the aviation science program is selective. Selection will be based on the ability to enter all course work required in the first semester and a personal interview with a designated college official. The aviation science program is designed for those students who plan to go on to become commercial pilots. Students admitted to the program will be required to pass the FAA First Class Medical Exam no later than one week prior to the beginning of classes. Please be aware that there is an additional fee for the flight lessons taken during the course of this program:
AERO 112 Private Pilot – Ground Academic RequirementsStudents must be academically prepared to enter English 101 (Academic Writing I) and Math 135 (Pre-Calculus Mathematics) in order to be considered for admission to the program. |
