Health Center Announcement

Meningitis Update:
Currently two Cornell students are recovering from confirmed bacterial meningitis. Cornell and the Tompkins County Department of Health are working closely together to provide prophylaxis treatment to those who came in close contact with these students.

There is a viral gastroenteritis going around campus. The CDC and Gannett Health Services at Cornell have information that may help you if you come down with the virus.

Just search for "TC3" and find the "TC3 Student Health Center" group. Then, view and join the group.

What will be happening on the TC3 Student Health Center group page:

  • We will be announcing different clinics held at the Health Center.
  • We will advertise health-related fairs and speaking engagements.
  • Lastly, the discussion board will be used to inform students on various healthy living topics.

Destress Yourself with Massage Therapy

Muscles getting tight with the cold weather? Getting stressed already this semester? Come destress yourself at the TC3 Student Health Center with massage therapy.

Lori Brennon, LMT from Balanced Life Therapeutic Bodywork will be providing massage therapy every Friday, 1-5 p.m. during the Spring 08 semester.

Table massages are given in a private room in the Health Center. Massage techniques include Swedish, Deep/Connective Tissue, and Pregnancy.

This is a fee-for-service offering, so all of the TC3 community can participate. The massage therapy fees are as follows:

Faculty and Staff

30 minutes $35
60 minutes $65
90 minutes $95

Students

30 minutes $25
60 minutes $50

Additional Massage Offerings:

Reflexology Foot Session

30 minutes $40

Aroma Therapy Option

4 different blends – $5 added to a massage.
